Rules and security regulations — Alpine Hiking

To safely take full advantage of our trails, thank you for respecting the following rules:

  • Hours and trails
    1. Respect the opening and closing hours of the trails.
    2. Stay in your designated area and always climb in a single file line to be properly visible.
    3. You have to leave the mountain for closing time at 10pm. The maintenance requires the use of a winch, which could cause a real danger for the skier if they come in contact with the cables. These cables can be difficult to detect and are used all over the mountain during maintenance.
  • Interaction with vehicles
      1. If you come across a motorized vehicle (snow groomer, snowmobile, mountain bike), stop on the side of the road and wait for the flashing lights to go out before continuing.
  • Authorized zones
      1. Only use the designated areas and, if you are on a ski hill, always stay on the right to prevent surprising the skiers.
      2. Access to the ski slopes for going up the mountain are strictly forbidden, until otherwise indicated.
  • Forbidden equipment and practices
      1. Using adapted equipment (skis or splitboards with metallic squares, brakes, or restraint straps).
      2. Baby carriers, crampons, snowshoes, and fat bikes are forbidden on our mountains.
  • Animals are not permitted on the trails.
  • Security and Emergency
    1. Our trails are not patrolled. In case of an emergency during opening hours please contact 450-883-0701 extension #9
    2. Outside of opening hours, call 911. Please note that cell coverage might be limited or nonexistent.
