The mountain does not close when the snow goes. The hiking trails at Val Saint-Côme climb to the viewpoints skiers keep to themselves all winter, with routes for every fitness level.
Three routes worth knowing
The first loops around the base of the mountain, almost flat, perfect with young children. The second switchbacks to the summit. The third follows the ridge and offers the best view in the region at sunset.
Come prepared
Good shoes, water, a windproof layer: the weather up top is never the weather in the parking lot.
