Reporting to the Guest Experience Director, the cashier rings up purchases at the ticket office or cafeteria and collects payments using the point-of-sale system. At the ticket office, the cashier also advises guests on ski/bike tickets and current promotions.

Responsibilities

At the heart of the action

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide great customer service.
  • Ring up transactions and collect payment for products and services.
  • Make sure invoice prices and cash transactions are accurate.
  • Produce and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
  • Sell ski or bike tickets at the ticket counter.
  • Restock condiments and other products sold at the cafeteria counter as needed.
  • Cover shifts at the customer service counter.
  • Keep each cash station clean, neat and tidy.
  • Any other related tasks.
Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Able to handle cash transactions.
  • Comfortable with computer tools.
  • Customer service experience (an asset).
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team spirit, effective communication, quick execution and ease with the public.
