Job description
Grow and leave your mark
Reporting to the Garage Director, the equipment maintenance attendant takes part in the preventive maintenance and repair of Val Saint-Côme’s equipment.
Responsibilities
At the heart of the action
- Inspect equipment for defects or wear.
- Perform daily maintenance on the resort’s rolling equipment (ATV, snowmobile, groomer, tractor, pickup, compressor, etc.).
- Replace lights, spark plugs and other faulty parts.
- Handle greasing and oil changes, replace bearings and check fluid levels.
- Recharge batteries with the right charger (6 V, 12 V, 24 V, fast or slow charge).
- Repair flats and change tires and rims.
- Assist the Garage Director as needed.
- Properly use the tools required for the work (drill, impact wrench, saw, torch, lifting equipment, etc.).
- Follow the policies and processes related to the role.
- Support other departments in the company’s daily operations.
- Keep equipment and the work environment in good condition and clean.
- Any other related tasks.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical training and/or skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting.
- Team spirit, leadership and effective communication.
