Job description
Grow and leave your mark
Reporting to the Guest Experience Director, the customer service advisor ensures the smooth running of the customer service counter and of the activities they are responsible for.
Responsibilities
At the heart of the action
- Take part in selling products and services.
- Welcome guests and make sure they enjoy a flawless experience.
- Analyze guest needs and advise them on the products offered.
- Take part in developing and creating products.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues.
- Communicate snow conditions to guests.
- Inform guests about daily activities and the events calendar, register them and collect payments.
- Answer phone calls and route them when needed; handle incoming emails.
- Sell ski/bike tickets, season passes, corporate passes and annual lockers.
- Welcome groups: prepare and hand out tickets, prepare the invoice, collect payment and act as their point of contact.
- Open and/or close the lodges (keys).
- Act as the point of contact for guests and staff in unusual or emergency situations, working with the patrol.
- Support the VSC Freestyle Centre of Excellence with various tasks, including welcoming visiting athletes.
- Handle various administrative tasks: balance the cash and money entries, handle invoicing.
- Any other related tasks.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant customer service experience.
- Excellent spoken and written French; functional English.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort navigating the web.
- Able to handle cash transactions.
- Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team spirit, leadership, ease with the public and effective communication.
