Job description

Reporting to the Director of Lift Operations, the attendant carries out the operations required to load and unload lift users.
Responsibilities
At the heart of the action
- Take part in opening and closing the lifts.
- Control access to the lifts.
- Safely load and unload users on chairlifts and surface lifts.
- Check users’ tickets and season passes.
- Handle equipment lost at the loading zone.
- Operate the surface lifts safely.
- Take part, when needed, in emergency procedures (lift evacuation, power outages, accidents and injuries, etc.).
- Set up ropes and manage guest flow to make the best use of waiting areas.
- Maintain and clear snow from seats and from loading and unloading areas.
- Reposition the gates in the waiting areas.
- Enforce the mountain code of conduct.
- Any other related tasks.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- Relevant experience with ski lifts (an asset).
- Valid driver’s licence (an asset).
- Experience driving ATVs and snowmobiles (an asset).
- Good physical condition: standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Working outdoors, in cold or heat, for several hours.
- Lifting loads of up to 20 kg.
- Punctual, autonomous and reliable; team player with effective communication.
